Exterior Artificial Pancreas Project- Crimson Publishers

Exterior Artificial Pancreas Project- Crimson Publishers

Objective: Pump size exterior artificial pancreas that will keep the glucose between 120-150mg/dl.

Method: The whole project based in idea that we should already know one insulin unit how much is able to go down the glucose and one glucagon’s unit how much is able to increase the glucose. Less than 120mg/dl it uses glucagon’s. More than 150mg/dl it uses insulin. The pump checks the glucose automatically every 8 minutes. The pump (which is software decision) will choose between insulin or glucagon’s base in internal database table with prerequisite glucose values and the insulin or glucagon’s units requiring for each glucose value (adaptive database table for each diabetic). The pump (the software) is able to choose how many insulin or glucagon’s units it should use (that is not based on what the diabetic will eat, but base on the current glucose level that received from the sensor which is located in human body, needle and sensor are one piece). The insulin should have work duration 8 minutes and works instantly.

Result: I chose 120mg/dl as the lowest allowance glucose level because this glucose level is secure for the diabetic (there is a time to prevent big hypoglycemia).

Conclusion: This project offers to diabetic’s insulin injections freedom, hypoglycemia prevention, run emergency tests, ideally for all ages, endocrinologists will have the software to adapt the internal database table of the pump for each diabetic needs.

The Malachite Wen-Myeloid Sarcoma- Crimson Publishers

The Malachite Wen-Myeloid Sarcoma- Crimson Publishers   Contingent to World Health Organization (WHO) classification, myeloid sarcoma is denominated as a tumefaction comprised of myeloblasts amalgamated at an anatomical site divergent from the bone marrow which engenders distortion of normal tissue architecture. Generally, myeloid sarcoma is contemplated to be equivalent to and concurrent with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), although lesions may occur in isolation. Additionally designated as granulocytic sarcoma, chloroma or extramedullary myeloid tumour, myeloid sarcoma categorically represents as a distinct tumefaction associated with architectural effacement of circumscribing soft tissue. Myeloid sarcoma may emerge as a de novo lesion or manifest as therapy related myeloid neoplasm or as disease progression within myeloproliferative neoplasm (MPN), myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) or myelodysplastic / myeloproliferative neoplasm (MDS / MPN). In contrast, leukaemia cutis (LC) is...

Stimulus Activated Shape Switching in Shape Memory Materials with Tailor Able Start/Finish Temperature/ Time - Crimson Publishers

Stimulus Activated ShapeSwitching in Shape Memory Materials with Tailor Able Start/Finish Temperature/Time by Wei Min Huang* in Research in Medical & Engineering Sciences The shape memory effect (SME) refers to the phenomenon of shape recovery in a severely pre-deformed material , but only when a right stimulus is applied. The materials with the SME are called shape memory material (SMM), and typical stimuli include heat, chemical (including water/moisture), light, etc. Right now, the family of SMM has expended significantly, and covers a range of different types of materials, including alloy, polymer and ceramic etc. In general, the SME process includes two steps. The first step is to program the piece of SMM into a temporary shape (known as the programming process); and the second step is to apply the right stimulus for recovery (called the recovery process) with or without constraint applied. https://crimsonpublishers.com/rmes/fulltext/RMES.000515.php For mo...

Acute Gastroenterıtıs Agents Under 5 Years Old Age Chıldren: Crimson Publishers

Acute Gastroenterıtıs Agents Under 5 Years Old Age Chıldren by Çiğdem Eda Balkan and Demet Çelebi in   Research in Medical & Engineering Sciences Acute gastroenteritis outbreaks common health problem throughout the world especially in children. Everyyear thousands of children dies because of the diarrhea cause of bacterias, parasites and viral diseases. In this study we aim to find the rates of the agents cause diarrhoea, children under 5 years old according to the seasons. https://crimsonpublishers.com/rmes/fulltext/RMES.000534.php For more open access journals in  crimson publishers   Please click on   link:   https://crimsonpublishers.com For more articles on  Research in Medical & Engineering Sciences   Please click on   link:   https://crimsonpublishers.com/rmes/   Follow On Publons  :  https://publons.com/publisher/6342/crimson-publishers Follow On Linkedin :  https://www.linkedin....
